Prepare for a full day designed to ignite your senses and expand your sonic universe. AUTON begins its journey on the fringes of sound, delving into the weird and wonderful, coaxing you gently into unfamiliar yet captivating rhythms.

As the day unfolds and the light fades, the atmosphere shifts, building inexorably towards a thrilling techno assault that will command your attention and move your spirit. This carefully curated progression ensures a dynamic and evolving experience, pushing boundaries while remaining utterly enthralling from start to finish. It’s an auditory adventure where every beat tells a story and every transition opens a new door.

At the heart of AUTON’s debut lies an exceptional lineup, headlined by the world-renowned electronic innovator, Ceephax Acid Crew. Known for their legendary live performances and genre-defying sound, Ceephax Acid Crew promises a set that embodies the spirit of discovery.

They’ll be joined by an impressive selection of local support acts, each bringing their distinct flair and passion to the warehouse stage. This isn’t your standard one-DJ showcase; it’s a carefully crafted tapestry of sound, offering an excursion for the truly curious, for those keen to discover sounds they’ve never heard before and forge new connections with music.

AUTON is a celebration of creativity, culture, and community – a testament to Mettle Works’ commitment to fostering artistic expression in Chelmsford and beyond. We’ve designed this festival for everyone: for the seasoned electronic music enthusiast seeking something fresh, and for the newcomer ready to embark on an exciting sonic journey.
